Thomas Hrouda worked as a Business Attorney from 1998 to 2021. During that time, he practiced primarily in Business Litigation with focus in Partnership and Joint Venture Disputes. He has also litigated Investment Convertible Notes, Officer Breach of Fiduciary Duties, and Derivative Liability Claims related to investments that have gone bad. He has represented contractors in Employment Law issues, independent contractor disputes, equipment leasing issues, and administrative law.
From July 2016 to July 2021 he served a Director of Legal Affairs for a Single Family Office where he provided general legal consultation for Asset Management and Investment Due Diligence. He served on the Investment Evaluation Committee for a Venture Capital Fund focused startup tech. During his time there is reviewed executive summaries and pitch decks, and evaluated investments opportunities on behalf high net worth individuals. He has helped found a Real Estate Investment Fund, an Opportunity Zone Fund, and a Registered Investment Advisory.
Mr. Hrouda has taught college level courses at two different private Universities in topics including Management Functions, Marketing Principles, Finance I (4x) & II, Managerial Finance, & Financial Investments.
Mr. Hrouda has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from University of California Riverside, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California Davis. He served as intern for the White Collar Crimes unit of a County District Attorney’s Office, and intern for County Public Defenders Office, and as a Judicial Extern for a United States Bankruptcy Court Judge.
